Number 1, Kinnettas Cottages is a traditional, 19th century stone cottage which has been recently renovated.  The cottage is now available for weekly let to holidaymakers. It is conveniently located looking over the historic Victorian Spa village of Strathpeffer, and offers a luxurious base in a peaceful location from which all that the Scottish Highlands have to offer is readily accessible.                                 

The cottage sleeps up to 6 people comfortably with two double bedrooms (one ensuite) and one twin room.  Our guests enjoy the traditional comforts of a Highland cottage such as the wood-burning stove that is the focus of the cosy living room. In addition, modern underfloor heating throughout the property and a bespoke fitted kitchen ensure that you will be able to relax in comfort at any time of year. Strathpeffer is an ideal location for your Highland Holiday. The magical north west coast of Scotland is within an hour's drive. For the hill-walker, around 180  "Munros" lie within a 50 mile radius of the cottage. Within an easy day trip, you can explore the Cairngorm National Park to the south or the rugged splendour of Torridon and onwards to Skye to the west.                                                                                                                                                         Easy walks in the village environs start just behind the cottage in the pine forest to the north. For bird watchers, walk on to Loch Kinellan and keep a look out for Red Kites. Strathpeffer itself offers the same charms that brought the Victorians - you can still try the spa water in the restored Pavilion, where there is nightly entertainment in the summer. Or seek out the Pictish Eagle Stone. Golfers will enjoy an exciting course 5 minutes walk from the cottage. The famous Royal Dornoch course is a short drive to the north.
